New to the GSSA model?

Worth knowing before you apply: our customers are freight forwarders, and the airlines are our principals — we sell and operate their cargo capacity. It means you will learn air cargo from the airline side of the table, which is a different and broader starting point than joining a forwarder.

The role

This is a first job in air cargo. You do not need experience in the sector — you need to be organised, careful with detail and comfortable on the phone and email usage. We will teach you on documentation, systems and the operational side, and you will progressively take on your own bookings.

What you'll be doing





- Taking booking requests from freight forwarders by phone and email and entering them into the reservation system.
- Checking space availability against our airlines' allotments and confirming bookings.
- Preparing and checking air waybills and supporting documentation for accuracy before the shipment flies.
- Keeping shipment data and records accurate in airlines’ systems.
- Coordinating day to day with handling agents at El Prat and with trucking suppliers.
- Answering routine forwarder enquiries on space and shipment status and escalating anything unusual to a senior colleague.
- Supporting the team with reporting and general administration.

What we're looking for

- Vocational qualification in international trade, logistics or administration / equivalent studies. Recent graduates welcome.
- Advanced English. You will use it every day with airlines and with our offices in 60+ countries.
- Fluent Spanish and Catalan.
- Comfortable with Excel and able to pick up a new operating system quickly.
- Methodical and accurate. In this job a wrong digit on an AWB is a real problem.

A plus, but not required: any exposure to air cargo, freight forwarding, handling or customs, including internships. A second language.
