Role Description Mergers and Acquisitions Associates – Tech Due Diligence will support transaction teams by evaluating technology-driven businesses for investors and corporate buyers. We have active engagements requiring expertise in performing detailed tech and operational due diligence, across Software Engineering, Product Management, IT, Operations, Sales & Marketing, Procurement & Supply Chain, People & Manufacturing across a range of industries. The associate will collaborate with senior advisors, clients, and external stakeholders to analyze market positioning,



product and platform scalability, operational performance, and potential synergies.

The role is hybrid, based in Catalonia, Spain and other parts of Spain, with a mix of on-site client work and work from home, and requires the ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Solid functional, operational and M&A; knowledge / experience
- Hands-on experience in due diligence for M&A; or investment transactions, preferably with exposure to technology businesses.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management, with the ability to work independently in a hybrid setting.
- Fluency in Spanish; with a proficiency in Catalan and English is an advantage.
- Experience in technology assessment (e.g., software platforms, data architecture, scalability, cybersecurity) is a plus.
