Experteer Overview
In this role you will provide practical legal guidance on AI-related matters and help deploy compliant, responsible AI solutions across Schneider Electric. You will collaborate with AI, Product, Engineering and Business teams to embed legal-by-design principles and governance. You’ll monitor global AI regulation, draft and negotiate AI-related contracts, and develop internal policies. This position supports a cross-functional mission to scale AI responsibly while navigating data privacy and liability considerations. A strong candidate combines legal expertise with a solid understanding of AI technologies and multinational deployment.

• Provide comprehensive legal support on AI regulatory compliance, data privacy, data usage and governance
• Draft, negotiate and update AI-related contract templates and clauses
• Advise Product, Engineering and Business teams on AI features and risk mitigation
• Develop internal AI governance policies and training materials
• Monitor global AI regulation developments and prepare internal updates
• Support AI hub-driven operationalization and risk-aware, legally sound design




• Escalate high-risk matters in coordination with Group Legal
• Contribute to awareness initiatives within Legal and Business teams

Responsabilidades
• 2–5 years of legal experience in technology/IT law, data protection/privacy and commercial contracting
• Meaningful exposure to AI or data-driven technologies and Software/SaaS environments
• Ability to interpret and operationalize AI regulation into contracts and guidance
• Hands-on exposure to EU AI Act or comparable data regimes would be an asset
• Fluent English; French/Spanish or other European languages are a plus
• Experience supporting business teams in fast-paced environments
• Strong legal drafting and autonomous handling of complex files
• Understanding of AI system lifecycle and core architecture concepts
