Overview

As a Software Engineer II on the Web Engineering team, you own meaningful parts of elastic.co’s experience, delivering fast, reliable, scalable features. You’ll work across the full stack—from UI components to backend services and deployment pipelines—shipping production-ready code and taking ownership in production. You’ll collaborate with product, design, and other engineers to improve site quality and performance in a distributed, async-first environment. You will also address security vulnerabilities and participate in on-call duties, ensuring robust,Secure operations. Responsabilidades

- Own full-stack features from UI design to backend services and deployment, delivering production code end-to-end
- Instrument and monitor client-side performance and backend observability (logs, metrics,



tracing, dashboards)
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to ship features
- Write clean, maintainable code and own its production behavior
- Triage and resolve security vulnerability reports from reproduction to fix and disclosure
- Participate in code reviews and manage production issues across client and server components, including on-call rotations

Requisitos principales

- 3+ years in a full-stack or frontend role with strong TypeScript and React experience
- Backend production experience with Node.js, Python, or Go
- Experience owning CI/CD pipelines end-to-end (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent)
- Proven track record of using AI to accelerate development and debugging while owning outcomes
- Experience building for high availability and security in production, with ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work autonomously in a globally distributed team
