We have a Permanent Part time opportunity for a Disability Support Worker at North Road, Ormond.
- Total hours per fortnight: 37.5
- Roster Line: 5
About You
- You’ll work with a range of customers with physical disabilities
- Comfortable working in a high physical support environment that includes complex manual handling and behaviour support requirements.
- Provide person-centered support that empowers each client to express choice and independence in how they want to be supported in their day-to-day lives.
- Assist clients with aspects of daily living needs in their homes and at times out in the community; including personal care, meals assistance and medications.
- An interest in taking on the additional role of Health and Safety Representative (HSR) would be highly regarded.
- Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
