MIISTA

Madrid

Miista is looking for an A Coruña-based senior operational, technical and commercial role with end-to-end accountability for Miista’s international digital trading channel, customer value and e-commerce execution. The successful candidate must be looking to relocate to A Coruña.

Role mission

Lead Miista’s global e-commerce business as a high-performing, brand-right and commercially sustainable trading channel, connecting product, content, technology, acquisition and customer experience.

The role

You are an experienced and commercially driven E-commerce Trading Manager responsible for the performance and day-to-day trading of Miista’s international e-commerce business. This senior role sits at the intersection of trading, merchandising, digital operations, technology, performance marketing and customer experience.

Your central mission is to turn Miista’s product and brand ambition into a clear general trading plan that grows revenue and contribution while protecting long-term customer value. You will lead the teams and partners responsible for e-commerce administration, product content, commercial photography and videography, creative merchandising, digital acquisition and CRM, remaining close enough to execution to ensure reliable, high-quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

Commercial strategy and digital trading

- Own and evolve Miista’s international e-commerce strategy, roadmap, annual budget, forecasts and trading plan in line with brand and business objectives.
- Take responsibility for digital-channel revenue, contribution margin, conversion, average order value, stock productivity, customer acquisition, retention and lifetime value.
- Lead the global trading calendar across product launches, seasonal moments, campaigns, promotions and market-specific opportunities, aligning stock, pricing, content, media and site readiness.
- Identify growth opportunities across markets, customer segments, categories, devices and acquisition sources while balancing demand, inventory, margin and brand positioning.
- Provide clear performance reporting, commercial insight, risks and recommendations to senior leadership.

E-commerce operations and team leadership

- Manage, coach and develop the in-house e-commerce administration role, setting clear priorities, service standards and operating rhythms.
- Manage the in-house e-commerce commercial photography and videography team, ensuring product content is accurate, distinctive, timely and fit for every required digital format.
- Manage the in-house trading and creative merchandising team, connecting commercial priorities with brand-right product presentation and storytelling.
- Build efficient workflows for product setup, copy, imagery, localisation, pricing, approvals, asset management, quality assurance and go-live readiness.
- Coordinate agencies, freelancers, platforms and technology partners, maintaining clarity over scope, budgets, delivery and performance.

Digital merchandising and customer journey

- Own digital merchandising, category presentation, product discovery, navigation, onsite search, recommendations and the end-to-end purchase journey.
- Use trading data, customer research, behavioural analytics and structured testing to improve conversion without weakening Miista’s editorial and creative expression.
- Improve site speed, usability, accessibility, localisation, checkout, payment options, delivery communication, returns and post-purchase engagement.
- Partner with Retail, Operations, Finance, Merchandising, Production, Logistics and Customer Service to improve availability, fulfilment and e-commerce profitability.

- Partner with external developer to action improvements, and set out the roadmap for ongoing site improvements.
- Support Press and Wholesale with an accurate, current and brand-consistent digital catalogue, imagery, product information and relevant digital tools.

Performance marketing and digital growth

- Manage the in-house and external-agency digital marketing programme across acquisition, retargeting and conversion, with clear commercial targets and brand guardrails.
- Translate the brand and campaign strategy set with the Marketing and Branding Manager into channel plans, audiences, budgets, landing journeys, product priorities and measurable trading activity.
- Challenge agency recommendations constructively and maintain transparency over spend, fees, attribution, incrementality, tests and learnings.
- Lead structured experimentation across audiences, creative formats, messaging, offers, landing pages, merchandising and conversion journeys.
- Connect media investment with product availability, market opportunities, CRM, the trading calendar and profitable customer growth.

CRM retention and customer value

- Own the global CRM, retention and engagement strategy across email, SMS, loyalty and other relevant lifecycle channels.
- Develop segmentation and personalisation based on customer behaviour, preferences, purchase history, engagement and predicted value.
- Build lifecycle programmes spanning acquisition, onboarding, browse and basket recovery, post-purchase, reactivation, loyalty and advocacy.
- Improve repeat purchase, retention, lifetime value and first-party data quality while protecting the customer experience from excessive promotional messaging.
- Work with the Marketing and Branding Manager to ensure CRM reflects Miista’s brand voice, campaign narrative and community priorities.

Technology data and emerging commerce

- Own the e-commerce technology roadmap and partner with Technology on analytics, consent management, product feeds, integrations, automation and platform development.
- Establish reliable dashboards across funnel, channel, campaign, customer, product, market and profitability performance.
- Advance attribution and incrementality practices beyond last-click and platform-reported results.
- Lead technical and commercial requirements for SEO, structured data, product feeds, taxonomy, onsite search and discoverability in search, social, visual and AI-powered interfaces.
- Evaluate technology and responsible AI applications for customer benefit, commercial value, scalability, operational efficiency and total cost.

Key measures of success

- Global e-commerce revenue, growth, contribution margin and delivery against forecast.
- Conversion rate, average order value and progression through key funnel stages.
- Customer acquisition cost, incremental marketing return and new-customer quality.
- Repeat purchase, retention, CRM engagement and customer lifetime value.
- Stock productivity, full-price sell-through and commercial effectiveness of digital merchandising.
- Site speed, usability, accessibility, checkout completion and platform reliability.
- Accuracy and timeliness of product content, catalogue readiness and campaign launches.
- Delivery against budgets, roadmaps, tests and strategic priorities.

Essential

- Experience with Klaviyo CRM, customer data, personalisation, testing, analytics, product-feed and digital asset-management platforms.
- Knowledge of privacy, consent management, accessibility and relevant UK and international e-commerce requirements.
- Experience connecting online commerce with stores, pop-ups, events or wholesale environments.
- Familiarity with responsible applications of generative AI in commerce and operations.

Our Position: The Opposite Thing

Designed in London — Made in Spain — EU Sourced and Produced

Miista upends the exclusionary practices of the fashion industry to show how we’re actually living now. Over the last ten years we are proud to have built a brand that through craft, our community, the risks we’ve taken and a sometimesbizarre willingness to laugh at ourselves, has made an elegant commitment to the alternative. A dedication to the opposite thing.

What does that mean? That we’re happy to sacrifice profit and to subvert problematic fashion trends for women to create a product that has personality in addition to aesthetic value. A product that knows women don’t really shop using the search words ‘pretty’ now. If we were your friend, Miista would be the odd one at school who grew up and got an attitude and a sense of confidence. You know when it’s a Miista.
