At Cellistic, we are helping advance the next generation of cell therapies by turning innovative iPSC science into scalable, GMP-manufactured products. As a Production Technician, you will play a hands-on role in this journey — working in our GMP cleanrooms to manufacture high-quality, clinical-grade cell therapy products.
Your role
As part of our Production team, you will be directly involved in the manufacturing of allogeneic cell-based therapies. Working in a GMP cleanroom environment, you will perform critical aseptic processing and cell culture activities, from cell selection, activation and transduction through culture, fill & finish and cryopreservation.
You will also contribute to media and solution preparation, in-process controls, equipment operation, environmental monitoring and GMP documentation. Beyond routine production, you will have the opportunity to support technology transfers, process improvements, equipment qualification and validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being close to the process, takes pride in doing things precisely and understands that quality, compliance and attention to detail are essential when manufacturing products intended for patients.
What you will do
- Perform aseptic manufacturing operations for clinical-grade ATMPs in Grade A/B/C/D cleanrooms.
- Execute cell culture and processing activities, including isolation, selection, activation, transduction, culture, fill & finish and cryopreservation.
- Prepare sterile media and solutions following GMP procedures and aseptic techniques.
- Perform in-process controls such as cell counting and viability testing.
- Operate and troubleshoot critical manufacturing equipment, including cell selection and cryopreservation systems and small-scale bioreactors.
- Support environmental monitoring, equipment and facility cleaning and the day-to-day readiness of GMP production areas.
- Complete GMP documentation accurately, including batch records, forms, logs and equipment records.
- Contribute to deviations, CAPAs, change controls and other Quality Management System activities.
- Support technology transfer, process optimisation and qualification/validation activities.
- Contribute to SOPs, procedures and other production documentation.
- Manage raw materials, consumables and waste within GMP areas.
- Work closely with Production, QC and R&D; colleagues and communicate clearly on production status, quality, safety and efficiency.
- Take part in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
What you bring
- A Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Applied Biology or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in biotechnology or the pharmaceutical industry, including a minimum of 2 years working with aseptic techniques in Grade A/B cleanrooms.
- Good knowledge of GMP and biotechnological principles.
- Excellent French, both written and spoken; basic knowledge of English.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- A precise, quality-focused and reliable approach to your work.
- A hands-on, can-do mindset and the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the flexibility to work across functions.
- A genuine interest in contributing to the development and manufacture of innovative cell therapies.
Why join Cellistic?
At Cellistic, you will work at the interface of cutting-edge science and real-world manufacturing, alongside colleagues who are passionate about bringing innovative cell therapies closer to patients. You will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in GMP manufacturing while contributing directly to programs with the potential to make a difference in patients' lives.
If you are looking for a hands-on role where precision, teamwork and science come together to create something that matters, we would love to hear from you.
