SII Belgium is looking for a Data Engineer / BI Developer to join a team dedicated to designing and optimizing data solutions. You will work across the entire data chain, from modeling to reporting, supporting high-value projects.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop advanced reports and dashboards in Power BI, including data modeling and visualization management.
- Structure and optimize relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) to ensure query performance.
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data extraction, transformation, and loading, using appropriate programming or scripting languages (Python, C#, SSIS, or other ETL tools).
- Integrate APIs to drive and automate data exchanges between systems.
- Contribute to the design and evolution of the company's Data Warehouse, ensuring proper modeling, normalization, and historization management.
- Ensure the robustness, security, and maintainability of developed code.

Profile:

- Proven expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, advanced report creation, and dashboard management.




- Strong SQL skills for database design (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL), and manipulation and optimization of complex queries.
- Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages for ETL and interface development (Python, C#, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), or other ETL tools).
- Knowledge of APIs to integrate and drive system-to-system exchanges.
- Attention to code robustness, security, and maintainability.
- In-depth knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and best practices (modeling, normalization, historization management).
