As a Mechanical Design Engineer at AWS, you will lead the design and innovation of mechanical systems for data centers, supporting rapid integral expansion across EMEA. You’ll work inside a diverse engineering team to deliver resilient, cost-efficient solutions that enable world-class uptime. You’ll communicate technical decisions to senior leaders and drive design improvements from concept through construction.

Compensaciones / Beneficios

- Lead design activities and coordinate with internal and external teams for data center projects
- Assess how design choices affect campus layouts and utility needs
- Manage design consultants, RFPs/RFIs and change/version control
- Collaborate with AHJs, utilities, commissioning teams to ensure compliance and performance
- Review equipment submittals, conduct site visits, and perform RCA/CA for design issues




- Support multiple projects across regions and provide construction-phase technical support
- Define project scopes and provide technical guidance during construction
- Lead problem-solving with cross-functional teams and deliver innovative solutions
- Oversee integration with vendors and manufacturers for appropriate equipment
- Drive knowledge sharing and maintain a proactive, positive team culture

Responsabilidades

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience in industrial or commercial xugodme engineering in mission critical facilities (data centers, power generation, or oil and gas)
- Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods for data center equipment
- Experience in commissioning and validating system performance
