Role definition:

We are looking for a Grafana Specialist / Grafana Engineer with strong expertise in Grafana administration, configuration, and observability practices. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Grafana and be capable of supporting both platform administration and end-user adoption across the organization.

This role will be responsible for assisting the core Grafana team in implementing configurations, enhancements, and platform changes while providing technical guidance and best practices. The candidate will work closely with development teams, operations teams, and other stakeholders to enable effective monitoring, visualization, alerting, and observability solutions using Grafana.

Expected qualification and critical experiences –

- Extensive hands-on experience with Grafana deployment, configuration,



administration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of observability concepts including monitoring, logging, alerting, metrics, and dashboarding.
- Ability to support the core Grafana platform team with setup activities, configuration changes, upgrades, maintenance, and governance.
- Capable of independently executing Grafana-related tasks and providing technical guidance and instructions to team members.
- Experience working with application development, infrastructure, and operations teams to drive Grafana adoption.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, visualizations, and alerting mechanisms to support business and operational requirements.
- Configure and optimize alerts, notification channels, and monitoring strategies to improve service visibility and reliability.
- Analyze monitoring requirements and translate them into effective Grafana solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish observability standards, best practices, and governance procedures.
- Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and operational runbooks.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve monitoring and observability challenges.
- Work effectively in a cross-functional and global team environment.
- Provide support during incident investigations and performance troubleshooting activities.

Mandatory Skills and Certification:

- Expert knowledge of Grafana.




- Experience in dashboard creation, metrics visualization, alert configuration, and data source integration.
- Good understanding of monitoring and observability ecosystems.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale monitoring solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to train, mentor, and guide users on Grafana adoption and best practices.

Good to have:

- Experience with Dynatrace.
- Experience with Splunk.
- Knowledge of cloud monitoring platforms and modern observability practices.
- Exposure to DevOps, SRE, and Infrastructure Monitoring concepts.
- Additional language proficiency besides English.
- Relevant certifications in Grafana, Observability, Monitoring, Cloud, or DevOps technologies are advantageous.
