We are currently looking for a Senior Static Equipment Engineer to join a major international energy project.

This position is aimed at professionals with solid experience in static equipment engineering, supporting the development of complex industrial projects through engineering, procurement, manufacturing, inspection and commissioning phases.

Madrid or Bilbao, Spain

Work Modality:

Hybrid work model – 2 days remote per week

Responsibilities:

Prepare equipment specifications, datasheets and other engineering deliverables for static equipment packages.
Perform design, specification and technical follow-up activities for pressure vessels, storage tanks, drums and other static equipment.
Prepare technical requisitions and inquiry packages for equipment procurement.
Review vendor quotations and perform technical bid evaluations.
Support procurement activities through technical assessments and vendor clarifications.
Review, comment on and approve vendor documentation and drawings, ensuring proper coordination with other engineering disciplines.
Provide technical support during fabrication, inspection, testing, construction and commissioning activities.
Participate in multidisciplinary engineering reviews,



including P&ID; reviews and 3D model reviews.

Requirements:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Proven experience in Static Equipment Engineering within EPC industrial or energy projects.
Experience with Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, Drums and other Static Equipment.
Experience preparing equipment specifications, datasheets and technical requisitions.
Experience reviewing vendor quotations, supplier documentation and performing technical bid evaluations.
Knowledge of international codes and standards such as ASME, API and EN.
Experience with specialised software such as PV Elite, Compress, AMETank or equivalent tools.
English level B2 or higher.

Desirable requirements:

Experience in Power Generation, Oil & Gas or other large-scale industrial projects.
Experience in FEED, pre-FEED, PMC or PMT environments.
Experience supervising EPC contractors or working on behalf of the client.
Knowledge of storage tank standards such as API 650, API 620 and API 625.
Knowledge of FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) and composite storage tanks.
Experience working in international and multicultural environments.
