Currently we'll looking for a person who works as a Industrial EHS Manager in our EHS Departament, based on Montilla (Córdoba), reporting to EHS Associate Director Europe. The main mision of this position will be responsible for providing direction, planning and oversight of EHS policies and programs to ensure compliance with applicable local laws and regulations and Corporate standards for Carrier HVAC Montilla plant. This role will span the Operations and Manufacturing organizations and business support functions. Our functional purpose is to support Carrier’s mission by creating business value through breakthrough and sustainable EHS solutions to protect our People, our Stakeholders, and our Environment.

FUNCTIONS:

- Develop & implement EHS plans for Montilla’s Plant that are aligned with the Commercial HVAC business unit strategic direction, monitor it and report progress to the Plant leadership, CMC and EHS, collaborating with them to achieve optimal EHS performance.





- Create EHS Strategy for plant and Operation’s organization, ensure alignment of EH&S; Goals and deployment and provide guidance to operational management on the prevention of workplace incidents and illnesses.

- Promoting and ensuring adherence to Lead with Safety Commitments and actively promote EHS as a shared responsibility rooted in the right EHS culture.

- Lead EHS training & development programs, coaching management teams to develop a deep understanding of EHS responsibilities and the business benefits of robust EHS program.

- Manage, participate or oversee EHS investigations into workplace incidents to uncover root causes, identify immediate and preventative actions and capture “lessons learned”.

- Conduct EHS audits according to the Corporate and regulatory requirements and close on corrective actions in a timely manner.

- Track EHS related internal audit corrective and preventive action plans to ensure timely completion.

- Generate and review periodic reports for the Corporate and the local regulations on EHS data, KPI’s and main results.

- Identify EHS resource needs during project proposal phase, based on project role, scale, hazard profile and technical complexity.

- Manage prequalification, deployment, and safety performance of subcontractors.
