This role involves capturing and editing a founder-led interview and travel shoot across Asturias, Cantabria, and Bilbao in Northern Spain. The project centers on real client stories, expert partners, and authentic B-roll of Spanish daily life, aiming for a warm, documentary-style look. The idóneo candidate is an experienced solo videographer-editor who can put non-professional contributors at ease and deliver high-quality, natural footage in English.
Spanish language skills are a plus. The assignment requires a calm, personable approach and the ability to work independently while managing all aspects of production. Filming is scheduled for three days between 22 September and 1 October 2026, with final delivery by mid-October.
Deliverables
- Two-camera interview coverage with lavalier microphones and backup audio
- Indoor lighting setup and gimbal operation for B-roll; optional drone footage where appropriate
- Capture of all raw footage and project files
- Production of 2–4 long-form edits and 15–30 vertical short-form cutdowns
- Creation of an organized, tagged B-roll library
- Delivery of a short About Us brand film
- Collection of signed image releases from all contributors using provided templates
Requirements
- Proven experience in documentary-style videography and editing, ideally in travel or interview formats
- Proficiency with professional video, audio, and lighting equipment
- Strong skills in editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
- Ability to work solo on location and manage all technical aspects of the shoot
- Excellent interpersonal skills to make non-professional contributors comfortable on camera
- Fluent English required; Spanish language skills are advantageous
- Availability for travel and filming in Northern Spain during the specified dates
- Organized approach to file management and delivery of all assets
- Comfortable with obtaining and managing image releases
- Must provide own equipment for the shoot
