With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a Junior Graphics Programmer to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.Responsibilities- Maintain and extend our proprietary engine's VFX systems (particle simulation, materials, post-process effects, rendering/lighting pipeline)- Collaborate closely with the Art/VFX department to implement top-quality visual effects and grow our library of VFX components- Debug and optimize code to meet quality and performance targets- Document code features as you build themRequirements- Thorough knowledge of C++- Strong technical background (bachelor's degree or comparable experience)- Clear communication skills, written and spoken, in English- Enthusiasm for making and playing great games- Proficiency with modern graphics APIs such as DirectX 12, Vulkan, or Metal- Skilled in using CPU and GPU profiling tools to diagnose and resolve bottlenecks- Solid grasp of particle system algorithms,
