Work closely with Octopus Energy ES and various global teams to develop and integrate new features for our website and mobile app.
Thrive in an agile culture: ð What you'll need to thriveFluent spoken English is absolutely essential ðð§. The team is international, so English will be the language you use on a daily basis.
Strong professional experience building backend applications with Python.
Solid experience with Django (or equivalent robust web frameworks).Deep understanding of Domain Modelling and software architecture.
Strong expertise designing and integrating GraphQL & REST APIs.
Proven experience writing robust, fault-tolerant, and scalable software.
Experience with Celery and asynchronous task processing.
Solid handling of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure (AWS, Terraform, Packer or Consul).Familiarity or exposure to frontend technologies such as React and Next.js.
