Experteer Overview In this role you will design and characterize high-performance analog and mixed-signal blocks and own circuits end-to-end from design to tape-out. You will contribute to EDA methodologies and flows, support cross-functional design teams, and help shape tool and PDK enablement. This position blends hands-on transistor-level design with mentoring and collaboration to improve silicon success and design productivity at Qorvo. You’ll work within the EDA Applications Engineering team to advance RF/analog flows and collaborate with vendors to influence tool roadmaps.Compensaciones / Ventajas
- Design, simulate, and characterize analog and mixed-signal blocks (precision amplifiers, references, oscillators, ADCs/DACs, PMICs)
- Own circuits end-to-end from concept through layout oversight, tape-out support, silicon characterization and debugging
- Provide technical design leadership and mentor engineers; contribute to inventiondisclosures and publications
- Support RFIC, analog, mixed-signal, and digital design teams on industry-standard EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre)
- Develop, qualify, and deploy design methodologies and flows covering analog/RF design, AMS verification, digital implementation/verification, modeling, and silicon correlation




- Translate hands-on design experience into reusable reference flows, PDK enablement, and design best practices to improve first-pass silicon
- Evaluate, benchmark, and qualify new EDA tools; collaborate with vendors to influence product roadmaps
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technology, design, CAD, and product teams to raise design productivity and quality
- Deliver training, documentation, and mentoring to raise proficiency across RF, analog, mixed-signal, and digital methodologiesResponsabilidades
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of transistor-level analog IC design experience
- Experience with amplifiers, comparators, voltage references/bias circuits, oscillators, ADCs/DACs, or mixed-signal subsystems
- Expert knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso and Spectre
- Strong fundamentals in analog circuit design, device physics, noise, stability and compensation, matching/PVT variation
- Hands-on silicon characterization and debug experience
- Experience or strong interest in applications support, design methodology, or bridging between designers and EDA tools/flows
