The Sales Support Admin Officer is responsible for maintaining the efficiency of a team of external sales people, whether Account Managers or Field Sales sub-function, and maximizing their time on customer facing activities by supporting them with their administrative workload. They will liaise with internal stakeholders and external customers to support customer interactions, informing internal stakeholders of external inputs and external customers of relevant internal information.

Support and oversee administrative activities Enable assigned sales representatives to focus on customer facing activities by assisting them with their sales administration activities (including but not limited to quotations, credit applications, customer appointments, customer presentations, enquiries and complaints)

Assist sales representatives with their own personal administration, expenses, reporting or customer activity reporting in CRM

Contribute to the preparation of weekly, monthly or quarterly sales reports.

Collect data, maintain and update databases

May assist the salesperson in the production of RFI's and RFQ's by the Accountability (responsibility for these RFI's and RFQ's will always remain with the owner)

Share qualified sales leads with the network following the sales lead process

Manage internal and external communications

Be a direct point of contact for customers and internal GEODIS stakeholders

Deal with enquiries, challenges, requests for quotations and sales appointments

Manage the flow of information in a timely and accurate manner and facilitate effective communication within the sales team

Recognise that you are an ambassador for the GEODIS brand at all times, act accordingly and ensure that your team does the same
