Team members have the opportunity to contribute to innovative therapies that aim to redefine standards of care in oncology.Role Description The BioTech Lab Assistant internship is a hybrid role based in Barcelona, with a combination of on-site laboratory work and some work-from-home tasks. The intern will support daily lab operations, including preparation of reagents and samples, handling and maintaining laboratory equipment, and performing routine experiments under supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with data collection and basic analysis, recording and organizing experimental results, and contributing to quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable outcomes.



The role also involves collaborating with scientists and other team members, following safety and compliance protocols, and participating in team meetings to discuss experimental progress and findings.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills, including familiarity with standard laboratory techniques and basic experimental workflows.Candidates should possess experience with laboratory equipment, including proper use, handling, and routine maintenance of common instruments.Candidates should possess quality control skills, including attention to detail, adherence to protocols, and accurate documentation of procedures and results.Candidates should possess analytical skills, including basic data interpretation, problem-solving, and the ability to follow scientific instructions accurately.Candidates should possess communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.Enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in biotechnology, biology, immunology, or a related field is preferred.Ability to follow laboratory safety guidelines, work methodically, and manage time and tasks in a fast-paced research environment.Interest in oncology, immunotherapies, and startup environments, with a proactive and learning-oriented mindset.
