Are you excited by the challenge of designing advanced magnetic components for next-generation power conversion systems?

As a Senior Magnetics Design - High Frequency & EMC Engineer, you will play a key role in the development of innovative power electronics products that support the energy transition. You will join a multidisciplinary engineering team and take ownership of the design, optimization, validation, and industrialization of high-frequency magnetic components and electromagnetic compatibility solutions.

In this role, you will work across the complete product development cycle. You will translate system requirements into robust magnetic designs, develop verification strategies, evaluate prototypes, and support certification activities. You will collaborate closely with converter designers, system engineers, suppliers, manufacturing teams, and laboratory specialists to ensure high-quality and reliable solutions.

You will have the opportunity to combine electromagnetic design, power electronics, simulations, laboratory testing, and product development in a highly innovative environment. Your expertise will contribute directly to improving efficiency, reducing losses, optimizing EMC performance, and accelerating product readiness for industrial production.

How you’ll make an impact

- You will own the electromagnetic, electrical, thermal, and mechanical design of transformers, inductors, and filter chokes for power converters.
- You will translate system requirements into specifications, design margins, and verification plans.
- You will select magnetic materials, winding technologies, conductors, and insulation systems.
- You will optimize losses, leakage inductance, saturation behavior,



and parasitic effects.
- You will define EMC mitigation measures including filtering, shielding, grounding, and layout improvements.
- You will perform electromagnetic and circuit simulations and correlate models with laboratory results.
- You will define and execute design verification, qualification, and certification tests.
- You will collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to ensure manufacturability, quality, and series-production readiness.
- You will investigate technical deviations through waveform analysis, thermal measurements, EMC assessments, and component evaluations.
- You will develop technical specifications, design guidelines, validation reports, and reusable engineering documentation.

Your background

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Telecommunications, or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing magnetic components for power electronics applications.
- Advanced knowledge of high-frequency transformers, inductors, and common-mode chokes.
- Solid understanding of magnetic materials, winding technologies, insulation systems, creepage, and clearance requirements.
- Experience analyzing and optimizing core losses, copper losses, leakage inductance, parasitic capacitance, and high-frequency effects.
- Knowledge of EMC principles, conducted and radiated emissions, common-mode and differential-mode noise, and mitigation techniques.
- Experience with electromagnetic and circuit simulation tools and laboratory measurement equipment.
- Fluency in written and spoken English, combined with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
