Requirements
Strong expertise in dbt Core (experience establishing best practices, structuring models, and running dbt in production).
Deep knowledge of AWS Redshift and columnar database optimization. xhfqzwm
Strong SQL proficiency: ability to read and understand legacy T-SQL (SQL Server) logic and rewrite it into modern Redshift SQL
At least Upper-Intermediate level of English
Nice To Have Skills
Familiarity with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) is a nice-to-have, as some of the client's reporting layer still interacts with it
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain dbt models leveraging existing Redshift pipelines
Analyze, deconstruct, and migrate legacy T-SQL stored procedures into modular, optimized Redshift SQL models using dbt.
Architect the dbt project structure and provide technical guidance on data modeling strategies to the internal engineering team.
Execute and optimize batch data transformation workflows within Redshift
