Mandarin Oriental is the award-winning owner and operator of some of the worlds most prestigious hotels and /br/Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid is an iconic five-star hotel located in the heart of the Spanish /br/About the job Based atbr/br/Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid, within thebr/br/Event Sales Department, thebr/br/Events Sales Executivebr/br/is responsible for actively selling the hotels event spaces, catering and banquet services, maximising revenue from corporate and social events while delivering outstanding guest experiences from enquiry through to /br/The role reports to thebr/br/Events Sales Managerbr/br/and thebr/br/Director of /br/As Events Sales Executive, your main responsibilities will include: Responding to event enquiries and converting opportunities into confirmed business.
Selling meeting spaces, event venues and catering services.
Preparing proposals, contracts and event documentation.
Conducting hotel site inspections and client show rounds.
Coordinating event logistics with operational teams.
Managing event information within Delphi and company systems.
Ensuring deposit, billing and payment processes are followed correctly.
Participating in pre-event and post-event meetings.
Achieving assigned revenue targets.
Upselling catering packages,



accommodation and complementary hotel services.
Building strong relationships with clients and partners.
Prospecting new business opportunities and market segments.
Supporting the department with reporting, forecasting and market intelligence.
Ensuring all events are delivered according to Mandarin Oriental /br/As Events Sales Executive, we expect from you: Minimum 2 years of experience in luxury hotel event sales.
Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build long-term relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems.
Knowledge of hospitality and Food Beverage operations.
Adaptable schedule based on business and event requirements.
Fluency inbr/br/Spanish and English.
