Experteer Overview
In this role you support Enverus’ compliance program and serve as the lead associate for GDPR and EU data protection matters, including emerging AI governance under the EU AI Act. You will collaborate with legal, security, and business teams to translate regulatory changes into practical policies and processes. You’ll handle DPIAs, ROPAs, DSAR responses, and privacy training, helping to ensure responsible AI use and compliant operations. This is a chance to contribute to a fast-growing energy technology leader with a strong privacy and governance mandate.

• Assist in capturing and maintaining required certifications, acknowledgments, and reporting under compliance policies
• Serve as day-to-day GDPR contact, maintaining ROPAs, DPIAs, and monitoring data processing activities
• Support AI governance program, including risk classification and conformity docs under the EU AI Act
• Assist in responding to DSARs and coordinate with business units for timely responses
• Maintain records of compliance approvals for reports, marketing, and related materials
• Support updating policies, procedures, and training on data protection and responsible AI use
• Monitor internal compliance systems to improve effectiveness and efficiency
• Record activities under Code of Conduct,



Vendor Code of Conduct, Privacy Policy, including trainings and attestations
• Track developments in EU data protection and AI regulation and translate to policy updates
• Coordinate with legal, security, and business teams on compliance and privacy projects
• Escalate issues to senior staff and participate in periodic compliance training
• Assist in responding to client questionnaires related to data privacy and AI use

Responsabilidades
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in data protection or privacy compliance
• Bachelor's degree
• Working knowledge of GDPR and familiarity with EU AI Act, or strong interest in AI governance
• Based in Madrid, fluency in English; ability to work with EU and US colleagues across time zones
• Independent work style with ability to escalate when needed
• Ability to develop and implement compliant processes, standards, or procedures
• Organized and detail-oriented with multitasking and deadline management
• Discretion and confidentiality
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain regulatory requirements to non-legal stakeholders
• Ability to research regulatory developments and respond timely
