In this role you will shape the data platform for an iGaming-focused business, collaborating with the Lead Big Data Engineer, Enterprise Data Architect and Lead BI to design future-state architectures. You’ll assess current platforms, perform gap analyses, and size efforts for large tasks, driving scalable data solutions. You work across data governance, engineering and analytics to ensure compliant, reusable data architectures.

This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a clear impact on platform strategy and delivery.

Compensaciones / Incentivos

- Assess current data platform and define future state with the BDE team lead
- Perform gap analysis and drive implementation with stakeholders
- Stay informed on leading Big Data technologies and communicate updates
- Ensure best practices, coding standards and data accuracy/reusability
- Proficient SQL and experience with relational and columnar databases
- Collaborate with stakeholders for research and workload sizing




- Support refinement sessions for better estimation
- Draft work that promotes cross-team collaboration and avoids silos
- Input into project planning and collective peer review

Responsabilidades

- Data modeling and schema design
- Experience designing data warehouses, data lakes, and schemas
- Relational and non-relational databases (SQL, NoSQL)
- Hands-on ETL/ELT tools, data integration and pipelines
- Familiarity with data governance, lineage and metadata management
- Experience with cloud xugodme data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services
- Understanding of modern data stacks and streaming technologies
- Knowledge of data privacy, security frameworks and regulatory compliance
- Ability to design secure architectures and implement data protection
