Excellence is an international software development team working in an agile Mode, using elements both of Scrum and KANBAN. We have the end-to-end responsibility for a web-based application running on an AWS cloud at Allianz Germany.
Our tasks are further developing the application as well as maintenance, user support and managing our technical infrastructure and deployments. Each team has its focus on particular features and workflows of the app. Design, develop,



and maintain scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Build and expand modern, maintainable Angular frontends connected to backend services.
Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, refactoring, and pull requests.
Take responsibility for production concerns such as performance, stability, security, monitoring and bug fixing. Build and maintain interfaces to other systems within the Allianz network.

Multiple years of experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Data/JPA and microservice architecture.
Proficiency in Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS with a sense for clean UI structure and UX.
Strong knowledge of automated testing (unit, integration, E2E) - TDD experience is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes.
Machine learning knowledge is a strong advantage.
