About Us

Afori's vision is to ensure every human has the right cover at the right time. Our founders previously built insurance unicorn wefox and are now building the AI layer for insurance brokers: agents that plug directly into brokers' daily workflows and take over the back-office work that eats more than 60% of their time. We already save brokers over 2.5 hours a day, freeing them up to do what actually grows the business: advising customers well. The opportunity is massive: the global protection gap is €1.3 trillion, and insurance distribution still runs on manual processes. Sequoia recently mapped AI-native services opportunities and ranked insurance brokerage first, a $140-200B market. We raised a €4M pre-seed led by General Catalyst, backed by investors and operators including Mustafa Suleyman (CEO, Microsoft AI) and Alex Rinke (Co-CEO, Celonis)

Your Role

A Founders Associate exists to give the founders leverage. You take problems off their table and solve them at the source, so they never come back. This is an early-career role with real responsibility.

You have built things before: automations, internal tools, a side project, maybe a company. Nobody has to tell you where to start. You find the biggest problem, take it, and come back with it solved.

You work with Fabian and Sergi every day. There is no fixed , and that is the point.

What you work on is whatever matters most that week: the pitch for a broker who could change our year, the growth experiment nobody has tried yet, the event where the whole industry meets us, the process that decides whether we can onboard three brokers a month or thirty. GTM, marketing, growth, operations. You touch all of it. In one year you will have seen more of how a company gets built than most people see in five, and you will have your fingerprints on the parts that mattered.

Your Impact

Two founders can only be in so many places. You are how they are in more of them.

What You'll Do:

- Whatever matters most: Some of it comes from the founders' table. Some of it is lying between roles with nobody's name on it. You take it from "what is going on here" to "this is what we do" to done.
- AI enablement: You use AI to research, analyze, synthesize,



automate, and execute faster than anyone expects. Then you make the team faster too: agents that run overnight, skills that turn one good output into a repeatable one, loops that check their own work.

- How Afori shows up: Together with our Head of Marketing & Community you build the systems behind how the world sees Afori. The engine that turns what happens inside the company into the founders' voice on LinkedIn. The website that updates itself. The event pipeline that runs without a spreadsheet. Marketing at Afori is something you build, and this part stays with you every month.

- Keep the company running: Tools, contracts, AI automations, the things that have to work every week. Nobody notices when they do. Everybody notices when they don't. You make sure nobody notices.

Who You Are:

Minimum qualifications:

- 0-2 years of work experience in a high-intensity environment. Startup, consulting, or your own company. Exceptional recent graduates welcome.
- A strong track record.

In your studies and in your work, you stood out from the people around you. And you have aimed at something big before. If it worked, great. If it didn't, we want to hear what you learned. The ambition matters more than the outcome.

- You can work end to end.

Have the idea, figure out the plan, build it yourself. When you pitch something, you bring a working version, not a slide about it. You don't need someone to fill in the details or tell you what is feasible.

- AI-native, without exception.

There is not a single task where you don't ask how AI can do it, speed it up, or improve it.

- You build automations yourself (n8n, APIs, webhooks) and understand how an AI product works under the hood.
- Fluent German and English. Our market is Germany, our office is Barcelona.

Preferred qualifications:

- A technical degree combined with business understanding.





You can read code and a P&L.;

- Insurance experience. You know how an insurance broker's day works.

Cultural Fit:

- Low ego, high agency. One day it is the investor update, the next it is a customer data set that needs cleaning at nine in the evening.

You take both with the same energy, because both move the company.

- You can't stop thinking about how AI is going to change the way people work, and what becomes possible when it does. You want to be one of the people making that happen.
