Experteer Overview As a Field Service Engineer in Ophthalmology, you will deliver on-site technical support for ophthalmic surgical equipment in operating rooms across Barcelona. You’ll maintain device performance, support surgeons and OR staff, and help grow service contracts and solutions. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure fast, high-quality service and compliance with regulatory standards. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge ophthalmic systems and meaningful impact on patient care. You will join a European Field Service team focused on customer success and hospital relationships. Compensaciones / Incentivos • Provide on-site technical support for ophthalmic surgical systems in hospitals, clinics, and ambulatory centers • Perform preventive maintenance, safety checks, troubleshooting and repairs per regulatory and Ju0026J policies • Install, commission, and validate ophthalmic equipment in OR environments • Implement upgrades and modifications across the ophthalmic installed base • Monitor system performance and flag potential risks affecting procedures • Collaborate with surgeons, nurses,



and OR staff to ensure equipment readiness • Serve as technical point of contact for key ophthalmology accounts in the territory • Support service sales by promoting contracts and upgrades and identifying incremental revenue opportunities • Maintain documentation, manage spare parts, and support complaint handling for quality improvement Responsabilidades • Field service experience in medical devices (preferred) • Education in medical electronics, biomedical engineering, electronics, or electromechanics • Experience with ophthalmic, surgical, or OR-based equipment (preferred) • Hospital OR experience (desirable) • Fluency in local language and professional English • Strong customer-facing skills and ability to work autonomously in clinical settings • Approximately 70% travel within the territory; occasional travel in EMEA Requisitos principales • annual bonus • vacation days • parental leave • bereavement leave • well-being reimbursement • insurance plans
