As a Senior AI Scientist at Preply, you will lead the development of AI-driven personalized learning solutions and shape the scientific roadmap. You’ll architect state-of-the-art models with a global impact, collaborating with researchers and engineers to enhance learner experiences. Responsabilidades

- Conduct AI research and development across deep learning, NLP, IR, LLMs, and multimodal AI for personalized learning and AI tutors
- Develop and deploy cutting-edge AI models in production, from prototyping to implementation
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers,



and product teams to deliver AI-driven learning improvements and business outcomes
- Mentor junior scientists and engineers, promoting learning and innovation
- Contribute to ML best practices, including model architecture, research methodologies, and deployment pipelines

Requisitos principales

- PhD in NLP, IR, Machine Learning, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4+ years of industry experience in deep learning-based NLP and IR applications
- Experience with retrieval models, ranking models, LLMs, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
- Strong proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Hands-on xhfqzwm experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud)
- Ability to drive AI initiatives from research to production in a collaborative environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a track record of impactful AI solutions
- Passion for advancing AI-driven personalized learning experiences
