Travel: Occasional travel to Austria requiredRole OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO Senior Consultant with proven experience in the service industry to support a major SAP ECC 6.0 rollout project. This hybrid role blends on-site collaboration with remote flexibility and involves adapting a global SAP template to meet the specific financial, tax, and regulatory needs of Spain and Switzerland.

Experience with localization and compliance in Spain and Switzerland is important.

The ideal candidate combines strong functional expertise in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) with a deep understanding of service-based operational models, ensuring efficient and compliant solutions for a multinational environment.Key Responsibilities

- Support the service industry-focused rollout of SAP ECC 6.0, ensuring alignment between general templates and local requirements.
- Analyze business processes in a service context and design effective SAP FICO solutions.
- Configure and maintain core FICO functionalities, including: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), (CO)Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, PS Project systems.
- Adapt solutions to ensure compliance with Spanish and Swiss legal, tax,



and reporting regulations.
- Work closely with service delivery, operations, and finance teams to optimize financial and controlling processes.
- Participate in all project phases: fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, training, documentation, go-live, and post-go-live support.
- Collaborate with international project teams and travel to Austria as required.

Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as an SAP FICO consultant, including at least one full-cycle ECC 6.0 rollout.
- In-depth knowledge of service industry finance and controlling processes.
- Strong functional expertise in FI and CO modules, including cross-module integration.
- Provide expert advice on financial processes, regulatory compliance, and international accounting standards IFRS
- Experience with localization for Spain and Switzerland.
- Fluent in English and Spanish - both spoken and written.
- Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel internationally as needed.

Nice to Have
- Experience in SAP Asset Accounting or Asset Management.
- Experience in integration of SAP with legacy systems
- Exposure to multinational rollout or global template deployment projects.
- Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies
- Experience in code reading or debugging
