Software Engineer, AI Platform

This is a fully remote role. While the LinkedIn posting is listed in Spain, we’re open to candidates across Europe and Latin America.

At Product School, we’re building an AI-native platform team, and we’re looking for Software Engineers who think about building differently.

We’re not looking for AI researchers or engineers focused on training models. We’re looking for builders who use AI as a core part of how they work every day. You’ll build agents, intelligent workflows, integrations, and AI-powered features that solve real business problems across Product School.

You should be comfortable taking an ambiguous problem, figuring out what needs to be built, shipping it quickly, and continuing to iterate until people actually use it.

What You'll Do

- Build and ship LLM-powered agents, workflows, and AI features that solve real operational and product problems.
- Take problems end-to-end, from understanding the need to building, deploying, measuring, and improving the solution.
- Build integrations across our CRM, marketing, data, collaboration, learning, and other internal systems.
- Work with APIs, services, authentication, data, and the infrastructure needed to make AI systems reliable in production.
- Design tools and integrations that allow agents to securely interact with other systems.
- Build evaluation and monitoring into AI workflows so we can understand quality, failures, regressions, cost, and performance.
- Implement appropriate guardrails, permissions, and human-in-the-loop systems.
- Work directly with teams across the business to identify opportunities where AI and automation can make them dramatically faster and more effective.




- Continuously experiment with new AI capabilities, keeping what works and moving quickly past what doesn't.
- Use AI coding tools as a normal part of your development process.

What We're Looking For

- Professional software engineering experience with enough real-world exposure to independently own and ship work without significant handholding.
- AI-native development habits. Tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or similar are part of how you build every day, not something you occasionally experiment with.
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs, agents, AI-powered features, or intelligent workflows.
- Experience taking software beyond a prototype and putting it in front of real users.
- Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, backend services, authentication, failure handling, and production software.
- The ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly rather than being tied to one language, framework, or platform.
- A bias toward action. You can make decisions with incomplete information, build quickly, learn from the result, and iterate.
- Strong ownership. You don't consider something finished simply because the code works. You care whether people actually use it and whether it solves the original problem.
- Product judgment and the ability to turn messy business problems into something concrete enough to build.




- Curiosity about how AI is changing software development and a desire to keep pushing how quickly and effectively software can be built.

Nice to Have

- Experience building AI agents or agentic systems in production.
- Experience with LLM APIs, tool use, structured outputs, context engineering, RAG, or agent frameworks.
- Experience defining evals and monitoring for AI applications.
- TypeScript/Node experience.
- CI/CD and cloud infrastructure experience.
- Experience with CRM, marketing automation, messaging, or other business-system APIs.
- Salesforce experience.
- Experience building internal tools or automation used daily by business teams.

We're especially interested in engineers whose careers have developed alongside modern AI tooling and who naturally think AI-first when approaching technical problems. At the same time, you should have enough professional experience to operate independently, make sound decisions, and own what you build.

What Success Looks Like In your first few months, you'll learn the systems we already run, take existing AI capabilities from "it works" to something teams actually rely on, establish better ways to evaluate and monitor what we're building, and identify the next high-impact opportunities for AI and automation across Product School.

This is a hands-on engineering role with direct business impact. You'll have significant ownership over what you build, how you build it, and how AI is used across the company.
