AI & Process Automation Engineer – Barcelona

Barcelona | Hybrid – up to 80% remote

Up to €60,000 + 10% bonus

I’m working with one of Europe's leading Financial Services organisations that is looking for an AI & Process Automation Engineer to help modernise and automate business processes across the organisation. The role is based in Barcelona, with a very adaptable hybrid model with up to 80% remote and 20% a month in the office.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys being hands-on technically, but also wants to be involved in designing solutions and working with the business to understand where AI, automation and digitalisation can genuinely make a difference.

As the AI & Process Automation Engineer, you will be working across areas including:

- Power Platform & Copilot Studio
- Python & workflow automation
- AI / LLM integrations and agent-based automation
- Designing scalable automation solutions and architectures
- APIs, connectors and data flows
- CI/CD, version control and configuration-as-code
- Governance,



auditability and responsible AI
- Building reusable automation patterns and frameworks

It’s not just about automating individual tasks. I'm looking for someone who can understand a business process, work out where automation can add real value and then design and build the solution. You’ll also help other teams adopt automation and low-code technologies safely, so being able to communicate with both technical and non-technical people is important.
