Overview

As a Mobile Lead Engineer in the Travel Things Team, you lead a cross-functional group to design and deliver high-performance mobile experiences within a fast-growing travel ecosystem. You'll shape technical strategy, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, architecture and data science to drive a scalable Prime-driven platform. Expect to work in a hybrid setup across Barcelona or Milan, tackling complex problems that impact millions of travelers.

This role offers influence on architecture, team culture, and the end-to-end mobile product.

Responsabilidades Lead a high-performing cross-functional agile team of 7-10 engineers

Translate requirements into design and split work into deliverable tasks

Define technical strategy for modules and ensure performance

Promote standards of technical excellence and continuous improvement

Participate in hiring and onboarding of new joiners





Manage team performance, goals, and prioritization

Foster team identity, engagement and collaboration with agile coach

Mentor colleagues to develop their skills and careers

Requisitos principales Knowledge and experience with coding, OO design, system design, performance tuning, design patterns, data modelling

Mobile and code base knowledge

Distributed, concurrent and scalable systems experience

Experience with Applied AI Tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT)

Ability to make fast, data-driven decisions

Strong communication and influencing skills

Presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
