Role Description

We are looking for a CAD Designer to join our engineering team in Errenteria / Rentería.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and development of 3D models and manufacturing drawings for moulds, tooling and related mechanical assemblies. Working closely with engineering, machining, production and project management teams, you will transform technical requirements into efficient and manufacturable solutions.

Key responsibilities include

- Creation and modification of 3D CAD models and assemblies.
- Preparation of detailed manufacturing drawings and technical documentation.
- Design and development of moulds, tooling and mechanical components.
- Collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability.
- Participation in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Management and organization of CAD files and technical documentation.
- Support during manufacturing, assembly and testing phases when required.
- Compliance with quality, safety and company standards.

Qualifications





- Proven experience in 3D CAD design for moulds, tooling, dies, fixtures or mechanical components.
- Strong proficiency in Siemens NX and/or CATIA .
- Experience with other CAD platforms such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo or AutoCAD will also be considered.
- Ability to create and modify complex 3D models, assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Knowledge of mould design, mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, GD&T; requirements and manufacturing standards.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in an industrial environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be valued.
- Familiarity with CAM systems, CNC machining processes and manufacturing technologies will be considered an advantage.
- Professional proficiency in English.

Highly Valued

- German language skills will be very highly valued and will be prioritized during the candidate evaluation process, even above other complementary qualifications.
- Experience in tooling, mould manufacturing, machining or industrial production environments.
