What you’ll do:Plan, monitor, and control production processes and variables from start to finish, ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent operations.Lead and manage the process engineering function, providing direction, coaching, and development to team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Optimize workflows, reduce production times and variability, and maximize product capabilities through data-driven process improvements.Lead the development, implementation, and launch of new product manufacturing processes, taking them through to successful plant-floor execution, and support the installation and qualification of new manufacturing equipment.Louis, including supporting operations during the installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment.Drive continuous improvement across existing manufacturing processes and equipment, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, capacity, quality, safety, and reliability while supporting successful implementation on the plant floor.Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering is required.7-10 years of professional experience in process engineering, preferably within the food, pharmaceutical, chemical, or related process industries, with proven people management experience.Hands-on experience with plant-level process control, management of process variables,



and implementation of process improvement and optimization strategies.Experience leading projects from development through implementation and successfully transitioning them to an operational level on the plant floor.Strong technical knowledge of production, quality, quality assurance, and process control in a manufacturing environment, along with experience using JD Edwards or a similar ERP system and Microsoft Office.English proficiency is required, with strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to lead and collaborate effectively with plant personnel and technical teams.A thorough and effective training experience during onboarding and beyond.Sensient Technologies Corporation is a leading general manufacturer and marketer of colors, flavors, and extracts.
