Overview

As Data Architect for PepsiCo International Digital Commerce, you will define and scale the data foundations that enable trusted, searchable data across markets. You will design conceptual to physical data models, govern metadata, and set standards used by engineering teams. You will partner with enterprise architecture and Data Engineering to align on reference designs and data sharing.

You will shape the data strategy for market expansion and new data domains, in a startup‐like, collaborative environment.

Responsabilidades

Design and maintain data models across the Digital Commerce domain to ensure scalability and business alignment

Define conceptual, logical, and physical architectures supporting data products and use cases

Own metadata management architecture for discoverability and understanding

Establish data modelling standards and patterns for Data Engineering teams across regional pods

Define and evolve data architecture best practices and reference designs for common scenarios

Review data designs to ensure alignment with standards and improve data accessibility

Represent International Digital Commerce in PepsiCos Data Architecture community and align with enterprise standards





Collaborate with Data Engineering on data lineage, quality, and metadata strategy

Provide architectural guidance on new initiatives (market expansion, new data domains) and assess emerging technologies

Partner with Solution Architect on end-to-end architecture decisions spanning data and architecture layers

Requisitos principales 6+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture

Proven Data Architect in a complex, multi-domain environment

Track record of scaling data models across markets or business areas

Experience establishing data architecture standards and governance in growing organizations

Background working with enterprise architecture functions

Deep expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling

Strong knowledge of modern data platforms (Snowflake, cloud data warehouses) and architecture impact

Ability to influence without direct authority through collaboration with Data Engineering teams

Strong communication skills to translate concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences

Comfortable representing dCommerce in enterprise forums within matrix organizations strong communication influence without authority cross-functional collaboration data modelling (conceptual/logical/physical)
