We're an international defence and security technology company scaling fast, and we're looking for an experienced Head of Engineering to lead the next phase of our Engineering organization.

You'll build and lead a multidisciplinary Engineering department, reporting directly to the CTO, taking technology from development into mature, manufacturable, customer-ready products used by defense, security and government organizations worldwide.

You'll be responsible for

- Building and leading a high-performing Engineering department, with the processes and governance to make delivery predictable.
- Owning product development through Design for Manufacture, industrialisation and release to manufacturing.
- Balancing technical performance, quality, cost and customer commitments across engineering programmes.




- Certifying products to applicable standards, working closely with Product, Manufacturing, Quality and Supply Chain.

What we're looking for:
- A degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Systems Engineering or similar.
- 10+ years in engineering within a high-tech product environment, several of those leading multidisciplinary teams.
- A track record of taking products from development into manufacturing, with strong process, PLM and certification experience.
- Aerospace, defence, robotics, automotive or other regulated-industry background a strong plus.
