As Engineering Lead, you own end-to-end engineering outcomes across all MaaS projects, shaping technical strategy and standards. You drive risk management, architecture governance, and cross-project reuse while coaching leads and architects. You partner with delivery and QA to ensure quality and timely releases, and you actively intervene to close gaps when underperformance occurs.
This role offers impact across multiple accounts and a clear path to defining technology direction and competency growth.
Responsabilidades
Own technical risk management across all projects, ensuring testing, validations, and security reviews occur on time and capacity is ready for major releases
Review roadmaps, WBS, and estimates; challenge assumptions and identify gaps
Serve as technical escalation point for leads and architects
Lead Architecture Review Board (ARB) and approve key architectural decisions; ensure consistency across projects
Review test strategies with QA Leads and improve testing coverage
Coach and mentor functional leads and architects; address weaknesses
Step in for underperforming leads/architects, take over critical tasks and work hands-on until gaps close
Monitor technical debt across projects and prioritize remediation
Drive cross-project reuse through shared libraries and patterns
Provide Delivery Manager with independent technical health assessments to flag risks
Participate in goal-setting and performance reviews for technical roles
Own the accounts technical strategy, technology direction, and tooling decisions
Participate in interviewing and hiring for lead/architect roles
Note: not a hands-on developer; does not replace Solution Architect on projects
Achievements in large engagements and across full stack are valued
Requisitos principales 10+ years in software engineering
3–5 years in a technical leadership role
Strong hands-on experience in the past
Led technical delivery on large engagements (30+ people, multiple workstreams)
Experience across full project roles from developer to lead/architect/manager
Experience in a consulting/outsourcing delivery model preferred
Managed or supervised architects and functional leads rather than only developers leadership and people development stakeholder management problem-solving and proactive risk detection technical leadership across end-to-end delivery architecture governance and ARB processes software engineering standards (code review policy, CI/CD, branching)
