Contemporary Star Energy is a joint venture created by Stellantis and CATL to advance affordable and sustainable electric mobility in Europe. Bringing together integral automotive leadership and next-generation battery innovation, we lead the evolution of cleaner and smarter mobility. Our large-scale, carbon-neutral battery manufacturing project contributes to the European electrification ecosystem and supports the regional supply chain for battery production.

Strategically located next to the Stellantis Plant in Zaragoza, Spain, the Gigafactory will produce next-generation lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with a capacity of up to 50 GWh.

We are looking for an Incoming Quality Engineer who will ensure that all incoming materials and components meet the highest quality standards and customer requirements before entering production.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Leading incoming material quality inspections and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Driving supplier quality performance through audits, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyzing quality data and implementing corrective actions to reduce defects and mitigate risks.
- Developing and optimizing inspection processes, standards, and testing methods.




- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and support operational excellence.
- Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements.

Your profile and qualifications:

- A degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in Incoming Quality Control (IQC) or other quality-related roles, with solid knowledge of incoming inspection processes.
- Experience using inspection and measurement tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Experience in supplier quality management, supplier performance monitoring, and quality issue resolution, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Availability to work on-site at our facilities based in Figueruelas (Zaragoza)
