We are partnering with a well-established international company to recruit an IT Category Manager to join its Procurement team in Barcelona. This is an international role with EMEA scope, combining IT Category Management, Strategic Sourcing and strong stakeholder interaction. Manage and develop IT procurement categories across EMEA, including areas such as Software/SaaS, Cloud, IT Services, Telecom and technology vendors.

Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing processes, including market analysis, RFI/RFP/RFQ, supplier evaluation, negotiation and contracting. Partner closely with stakeholders across IT, Finance, Legal and other business functions, acting as a trusted Procurement advisor. Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with technology suppliers.

Hands-on experience managing IT categories such as Software/SaaS, Cloud, IT Services,



Telecom or other technology-related spend. Ability to manage and influence senior and demanding stakeholders, balancing business requirements with Procurement objectives. Strong commercial mindset and confidence working with suppliers and contracts.

Fluent

English and Spanish. Availability to work in a hybrid model in the Barcelona area. You don't need to have managed every IT subcategory. You will join an international Procurement environment at an interesting stage of evolution, with the opportunity to gain visibility across EMEA, work closely with senior stakeholders and have a real impact on how IT spend and supplier relationships are managed.
