Java Developer | FX Trading & Pricing Platforms? Madrid, Spain | Hybrid

Are you a passionate Java Developer looking to work on business-critical trading platforms within a general financial environment?

We are currently supporting a major strategic transformation programme within the FX business, focused on the modernization and complete renewal of core pricing and trading systems. As part of the Price & Distribution Squad, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of FX Options Pricing platforms that operate within a global core infrastructure.

Working in an Agile Scrum environment, you will collaborate closely with traders, analysts, developers, QA engineers, and support teams to deliver high-performance solutions that directly impact global financial markets.

What You'll Do

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications supporting FX trading and pricing platforms
- Participate in the modernization of core trading infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, support, and product owners
- Develop scalable APIs and integration services
- Contribute to technical design, code quality, and best engineering practices
- Participate in testing, functional analysis, troubleshooting, and production support activities




- Drive continuous improvement within Agile Scrum teams

Required Skills & Experience✅ 5+ years of professional Java development experience ✅ Strong experience with:
- Core Java 8+
- Oracle and/or MySQL databases
- Unix/Linux environments
- Maven
- Jenkins
- Git
- Clean Code principles and software design best practices
- REST and SOAP services
- JMS
- JUnit and Mockito
- JSON and XML
- Agile/Scrum methodologies
