Overview In this role, you will be the senior legal partner supporting Reuters' global business from Barcelona, working in a hybrid setup. You'll structure and negotiate commercial agreements across sales, product, technology, content licensing, and SaaS, while advising Go-to-Market and other functions on contracting best practices and risk. You will help ensure privacy, data security, IP, and regulatory compliance in collaboration with Thomson Reuters and Reuters lawyers worldwide.

digital advertising and sponsorship Provide in-house commercial legal support to Reuters' global business units Collaborate with Reuters and Thomson Reuters lawyers to ensure compliance with privacy, data security, IP, and regulatory standards Requisitos principales Fluency in English Licensed to practice law in Spain (JD/Law degree from an accredited law school) Extensive transactional experience in drafting and negotiating major content licensing, distribution and other complex agreements; Solutions-oriented self-starter who manages complex matters with minimal supervision; can convey complex legal concepts concisely Contract drafting and negotiation Privacy and data security compliance Intellectual property law knowledge
