About the Role Our client is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer with expertise in industrial equipment to join their team in Queenstown. This role is essential for the design, development, and optimization of machinery and systems used in industrial applications. You will be involved in projects ranging from new equipment design to the enhancement of existing systems, ensuring efficiency, safety, and reliability.

This hybrid position allows for a balance between on-site work, crucial for hands‐on involvement with equipment, and remote flexibility. Design and develop mechanical components and systems for industrial machinery, utilizing CAD software.

Collaborate with production teams to oversee the manufacturing and assembly process of equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues encountered in the field or during production.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing or maintaining industrial equipment. Proficiency in CAD software (e.AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
