Overview In this role you drive and oversee multi-site oncology trials within a global program, acting as the primary client liaison and ensuring study delivery meets scope, quality, and budget goals. You'll lead cross-functional teams, shape trial strategy, and support business objectives through process improvement and proactive risk management. The position offers remote work across EU/UK regions and opportunities to influence senior leadership and bid defense efforts.

You will partner with clients and internal teams to deliver high-impact oncology programs.

Responsabilidades

Serve as primary client liaison and oversee client interactions, including proposals and presentations

Manage all aspects of clinical trials within assigned portfolios, ensuring consistency across studies

Provide direction to project managers across study establishment, planning, execution, procurement, and closing

Manage study budgets, identify out-of-scope work, and drive change orders

Oversee financial health: profitability, billing, and forecasting to meet business objectives

Develop or supervise robust project plans with timelines, risk management, and change management

Ensure quality management for projects, including eTMF readiness and CAPA/quality improvements





Establish and monitor trial and team progress metrics; prepare client and senior management status updates

Lead internal and client meetings; set expectations and drive study-level strategies

Oversee cross-functional teams for efficient trial execution; communicate protocol issues and corrective actions

Conduct formal presentations to diverse audiences, including bid defenses

Ensure study-specific training and compliance across functional areas

Support business development and travel for bid defenses; drive defense preparation

Mentor associate/project managers and participate in SOP updates

Provide performance feedback and address project-level issues with corrective actions

Travel domestically and internationally as required

Requisitos principales 8+ years in clinical research or equivalent experience

5+ years direct project management experience

Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, eTMF, EDC, CTMS

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Experience managing highly complex and global studies or portfolios

Mastery of ICH-GCP and relevant SOPs; strong project management techniques

Cross-functional leadership abilities and stakeholder management

High integrity with ability to work autonomously and in teams

Proven ability to plan, negotiate, and deliver on timelines and budgets strong communication leadership and mentoring cross-functional collaboration
