Overview

As Project Engineer, you will define and support investment and technical aspects of capital projects, managing budgets and documentation. You will oversee installation and commissioning of equipment, supervise contractors and internal teams, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations. You will coordinate technology trials, supplier negotiations, and reporting, delivering on project timelines and performance post-trial.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive capital efficiency and safe production globally aligned with Mondelēz's mission to lead the future of snacking.

Responsabilidades Define project requirements and technology to support production while meeting safety and quality standards

Create budgets, timelines, and investment justifications based on quotations and feasibility

Coordinate internal and external resources for projects

Collaborate on technology trials, FMEA, and process troubleshooting

Coordinate technical departments and report project status





Commission technology into operation and evaluate post-trial performance

Organize or lead tenders for new technologies, evaluate bids, and secure purchase orders

Ensure adherence to project budgets and timelines

Maintain compliance with project management rules and processes

Requisitos principales 3+ years in a manufacturing setting in a similar role

Experience managing end-to-end engineering projects: capex, supplier negotiation, installation and commissioning

Food or chemical industry experience preferred

MS Office and AutoCAD knowledge

Analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

Ability to prioritize under pressure

Experience with automation equipment

Fluent in English and Spanish strong communication presentation skills negotiation project management capex management installation and commissioning
