Role Description This full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Engineer role is based in Sant Quirze del Vallès. The role involves designing, documenting, and maintaining test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of HYDAC Group’s software and systems.

The Quality Assurance

Engineer will execute manual tests, report and track defects, and collaborate closely with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and support issue resolution. Daily responsibilities also include analyzing test results, contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes, and ensuring compliance with internal quality standards and customer expectations. The role may involve participating in reviews of specifications and technical documentation to provide timely and actionable feedback on testability and quality risks.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Quality Assurance methodologies and best practices, including defining and refining QA processes.




- Hands-on experience with Test Execution and Test Cases, including designing, prioritizing, and maintaining test suites.
- Practical experience in Manual Testing and Software Testing, with the ability to identify, document, and reproduce defects clearly.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate findings clearly, and support root-cause analysis.
- Relevant technical background, such as a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems; experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards in products and processes.
