Overview In this role you will design and ship LLM-powered features and autonomous agents within the Data Science team to deliver AI-driven travel services at scale. You will work closely with DS, ML Engineering, IT and Product to ensure reliability, evaluation and safety in production. The opportunity combines hands-on AI development with pragmatic cloud deployment on GCP, shaping a high-impact AI platform used by millions of Prime members.

You'll stay current with GenAI advances and share best practices across the organization.

Responsabilidades Design, build and ship LLM-powered features (chatbots, agents, RAG-based search) with cross-functional partners

Create LLM applications from simple single-model calls to sophisticated autonomous agents

Implement context engineering as a first-class engineering discipline including versioning, testing and evaluation

Collaborate with ML Engineering to deploy AI apps on our cloud platform (GCP) using existing MLOps infrastructure

Monitor,



evaluate and secure AI features in production, track drift, and implement guardrails and cost/latency controls

Stay updated on GenAI and share insights and best practices across the organization

Requisitos principales Degree in a quantitative or engineering field or equivalent hands-on experience

5+ years as AI Engineer, Data Scientist or Software Engineer

Strong Python skills and solid software engineering fundamentals (APIs, orchestration, observability, CI/CD)

Experience building and orchestrating LLM agents and tool use; knowledge of prompt engineering and context-window management

Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and shipping APIs/services to production

Ability to work with ambiguity and rapidly changing tooling; clear communication in English communication team collaboration problem solving
