Overview In this Senior Backend Engineer role, you will help shape the backend for the Sportsbook domain, collaborating with Staff Engineers to validate architecture and drive impactful changes. You'll design and deliver production-ready services, focusing on scale, performance, and security within a collaborative agile environment. You'll work with cross-functional teams to integrate products and build internal services, contributing to the backend architecture and overall platform resilience.

This is a hands-on role with a clear impact on system reliability and scalable delivery, in a dynamic and international team.

Responsabilidades Own problems and collaborate with other teams to deliver oplossingen

Design and implement features from idea to production

Build for scale, availability, performance, and security across the stack

Work with product managers, architects,



QA engineers and developers in an agile setup

Integrate new products and build internal services for the ecosystem

Conduct code reviews and mentor team members

Ensure services are production-ready, observable, and maintainable via monitoring, alerts, and on-call participation

Requisitos principales 6+ years of software development experience with Java and Spring Boot

Experience designing microservices, Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker containerization, and Kafka messaging

Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and caching

Experience implementing resilience patterns (retries, circuit breakers, graceful degradation)

Designing and maintaining monitoring dashboards (metrics, logs, traces) and alerts

Hands-on experience developing scalable RESTful end-to-end microservices collaborative mindset problem-solving mentoring and guiding teammates
