Currently we are looking for a Senior Buyer based in Spain who will support a strategic Source-to-Contract program for a general industrial organization in France.

The Senior

Buyer will act as the primary day-to-day sourcing contact for business stakeholders and will independently manage sourcing initiatives from intake through supplier selection and commercial contract execution. The role will focus primarily on industrial and manufacturing-related categories, with individual sourcing projects generally ranging from €50K to €500K.

Major Responsibilities:

- Manage end-to-end Source-to-Contract activities across assigned sourcing projects.
- Receive and assess sourcing requests, clarify requirements and define appropriate sourcing strategies.
- Partner directly with business stakeholders throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
- Develop and execute RFQs, RFPs and other competitive sourcing events.
- Conduct market analysis and commercial benchmarking to evaluate supplier quotations and identify negotiation opportunities.
- Lead supplier negotiations focused on pricing, commercial terms, savings and cost avoidance.




- Perform commercial evaluations and support supplier selection recommendations.
- Coordinate supplier communications, clarifications and follow-up throughout sourcing events.
- Identify and evaluate alternative suppliers, including opportunities to expand the supplier base into Asian markets where appropriate.
- Coordinate SOW and commercial contracting activities following supplier selection, working within established client templates, policies and approval processes.
- Maintain complete sourcing records, documentation, evaluations and negotiation history.
- Manage multiple concurrent sourcing projects while meeting agreed timelines and service levels.
- Provide regular case updates and proactively identify risks, delays or issues requiring escalation.
- Support achievement and reporting of sourcing savings, cost avoidance, compliance and stakeholder satisfaction targets.

Category Experience Successful candidates should have strong sourcing experience within industrial, manufacturing and/or capital equipment environments. Relevant experience may include:

- Production and assembly equipment
- Automated manufacturing equipment and production lines
- Industrial automation and robotics
- Testing and control equipment




- Metal and plastic transformation equipment
- PCBA assembly and testing equipment
- Welding, laser and other specialized manufacturing equipment
- Packaging and conveyor systems
- Other production, logistics and measurement equipment

Required Qualifications:

- 6+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement or category management.
- Demonstrated experience independently executing end-to-end sourcing projects.
- Strong industrial/manufacturing procurement experience.
- Proven experience with RFQ/RFP processes, supplier negotiations, benchmarking and commercial analysis.
- Experience managing sourcing projects with significant commercial value and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage a high-volume sourcing pipeline and competing priorities.
- Strong commercial and analytical capabilities.
- Experience supporting commercial contracts and SOW execution.
- Native or advanced professional proficiency of French language – mandatory.
- Professional proficiency of English language – mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience sourcing from or developing suppliers within Asia.
- Experience within a multinational industrial or manufacturing organization.
- Experience sourcing capital equipment and manufacturing technology.
- Familiarity with structured procurement governance, savings methodologies and sourcing compliance requirements.
- Experience working within a managed services or outsourced procurement environment.
