Overview

As Engineering Director at Docplanner, you lead the AI-enabled shift in patient-engagement product development while staying hands-on in code. You will drive transformation, shaping how AI is used to build patient-facing software across engineering teams. You'll mentor, collaborate with Product and Design, and scale effective AI workflows. This role blends technical leadership with meaningful impact on patient care in a remote-friendly, diverse environment.

Responsabilidades Lead Through Code by implementing features and architectural changes in patient-engagement products

Prototype and demonstrate AI-enabled development practices using AI tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude)

Establish and scale unified AI development workflows across teams





Partner with Product and Design to solve patient problems end-to-end

Measure impact through metrics like delivery speed, quality, and product outcomes

Mentor and influence the wider Engineering community to adopt new AI-enabled ways of working

Requisitos principales Hands-on experience using AI to accelerate software development

Experience delivering complex software in regulated environments

Proven ability to lead through technical influence and deliver results

Comfort with ambiguity and pioneering new approaches
