Overview In this role you will lead functional definition, domain modeling, and semantic governance of clinical data for the Digital Foundation Platform. You will bridge clinical end-users, hospital IT, and engineering to ensure semantically consistent, standards-compliant data models that support real-world care. Your focus areas are patient data and medical imaging services, with emphasis on interoperability and governance.

This position supports a mission-driven digital health platform that connects devices, HIS/EMR, and clinical workflows. You will work in a cross-functional, collaborative environment to shape data standards that enable safe, efficient care delivery.

Responsabilidades

Define HL7 FHIR profiles, extensions, ValueSets, and Implementation Guides tailored to platform needs

Model and map clinical data entities from HIS/EMR to standardized platform resources

Establish semantic normalization and coding strategies with international vocabularies

Define metadata schemas and data models for imaging (DICOM, DICOMweb) and non-DICOM content

Align imaging and archiving workflows with platform services using DICOMweb and IHE profiles

Link imaging studies to EMR records using FHIR resources like ImagingStudy and DiagnosticReport





Translate real-world clinical workflows into interoperability specifications

Specify transformation rules between legacy HL7 v2/CDA and FHIR/DICOM models

Define IHE-based integration architectures and governance policies

Audit, validate, and ensure adherence of implementations to data models and standards

Act as technical liaison between clinical IT, Product Owners, and backend teams

Requisitos principales HL7 FHIR expert (R4/R5) including StructureDefinitions, ValueSets, and Implementation Guides

HL7 v2.x experience with ADT/ORM/ORU workflows

DICOM and DICOMweb proficiency (WADO-RS, STOW-RS, QIDO-RS)

Deep knowledge of HIS/EMR/RIS/PACS/VNA/LIS environments

Clinical workflow understanding (admissions, orders, diagnostics, medication management)

IHE integration profiles (PAM, PIX/PDQ, XDS, SWF, XDW)

Experience with SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10/11, RxNorm, UCUM

ConceptMap authoring and semantic mapping

Data modeling (conceptual/logical), JSON/XML, OpenAPI

Governance, MPI/EMPI, data quality, privacy (HIPAA/GDPR)

Strong communication to translate clinical needs into data specs

Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field

Strong cross-functional collaboration

Effective communication of complex workflows

Analytical mindset with attention to data quality
