Senior Java Developer - Finance Arbo, Spain Intellias is partnering with a Fortune 100, Midwest-based industrial manufacturer to modernize and expand a suite of cloud-based services and data products used by a general network of dealers, enterprise customers, and internal business units. 6+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining backend services and distributed systems in production using Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x, Docker ~~ Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS core services and cloud-native application development. ~~ Strong experience designing and operating event-driven distributed systems using technologies such as Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or equivalent messaging platforms. ~~ Strong experience with JPA / Hibernate ~~ Strong database design skills with PostgreSQL (advanced SQL) and DynamoDB, including schema design, optimization, and performance tuning ~~ Solid test automation experience using JUnit and Cucumber ~~ Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and/or similar CI/CD tools ~~ Strong ownership and self-management in a fast-paced Agile environment, with the ability to independently deliver end-to-end solutions, resolve blockers, and communicate effectively in English ~~ Advanced SQL expertise, including designing, writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex analytical queries against large and complex datasets. ~ Experience processing, enriching, or analyzing event and telemetry data at scale. ~ Experience with AWS CloudFormation. ~ Experience with BigQuery or Databricks. ~ Experience with Spring Cloud.
